Coming Home For Passover

Just as we finish enjoying one batch of Jewish holiday parody/pop music take-off videos, we are on to another. It’s now time for the onslaught of Passover performances.

And I can thank The Fountainheads of Midreshet Ein Prat for filming their Pesach production on-site in the Negev desert – exactly where I and my journalist colleagues were last week on our Ben-Gurion University press trip. Not only does the scenery look very familiar, but so do the camels and the Bedouin tents. It was just a few days ago that we were eating lunch in those very tents. I can’t vouch for the camels being the exact same ones members of our group rode. One camel looks exactly like the next to me. In any case, I am sure they chose the most photogenic ones to star in the video – according to whatever camel beauty criteria they used.
