“A Big Fish in a Small, Canadian Town,” a story I wrote about my late Bubbe, Bertha Moscovitch Ghert, was published today on the Jewish Women’s Archive blog. The piece is part of the organization’s discussion of the significance of physical places and spaces in Jewish women’s history, a project to put Jewish women “on the map.”
